December's Books

In Crab Monsters, Teenage Cavemen and Candy Stripe Nurses, the author did a wonderful job pulling together movie posters, photos, and interviews with many of the actors, writers, and directors who worked with Roger Corman over his long career. The King of the B movies produced horror movies, biker movies, girls in prison movies, you name it. He also brought the work of critically acclaimed European directors to the States. Wonderful anecdotes--William Shatner was shy about doing a nude scene with Angie Dickinson. Worth purchasing just for the reproductions of the movie posters.
