July's Books

Tailspin by Catherine Coulter

Rachael Abbott on the run from someone who is trying to kill her. On the way to her uncle’s home in rural Kentucky, her car breaks down and she is stranded on the road. While walking into town she witnesses a small plane crash land nearby. The pilot is okay, but his passenger is badly hurt. The pilot is FBI agent Jack Crowne, and his passenger is a respected psychiatrist with dementia, who has been spilling personal information about his famous patients.  Rachael is the daughter that the late senator Abbott only discovered six weeks before his death. Rachael is convinced that her father was killed, and FBI agents Dillon Savitch and Lacey Sherlock investigate. Coulter’s FBI thrillers are action packed and the definition of a page-turner. Her characters never get boring or predictable. The twenty fourth book in this series, “Deadlock” is due out this week.
